Sarah Palin’s Hand Job
Apparently Sarah Palin’s speech to the Tea Party convention was written on her hand. This wouldn’t be that bad, except that during the address Palin mocked Obama as the teleprompter guy. Here is a picture, first placed on the blogosphere moments after the convention ended:
That’s pretty lame. If she were in high school, it would be considered cheating. But the really sad thing came the day after the election, when a reputable news source used their hi-def cameras to look at one of Palin’s manic hand gestures:
I can’t be entirely sure, but from top to bottom her crib notes appear to read
Energy
Budget [Crossed Out] Cut
Tax
Lift American Spirits
These are pretty pathetic cheat notes. If Sarah still can’t remember a list of five bullet points, then maybe she still isn’t ready to go public.

The GOP which professes to be a “big tent” political party despite seemingly different evidence is attempting to co-opt the tea party for its own political reward. You mark Michael Steele’s comment that (paraphrase) “we have to work in concert to shoot down Obama’s agenda.” Where are the proactive instructions? How do you scale down the deficit by reducing taxes? How do you repair the health care matter? While I am very angered at dems in congress and, to a certain extent Obama and his advisors, for not being more aggressive in getting the facts out, I also think that while the repubs have gathered momentum by blanket resistance the tide is about to turn. You have to boost ideas supported by confirmable data points that are good for the nation
